Frequently asked questions

When should I extract pages, separate every page, or split every N pages?

Choose one combined file when selected pages belong together, separate pages when each page must be distributed independently, and split every N pages when the whole document should become consecutive parts.

How does split every N pages work?

Set pages per file. For example, a 25-page PDF split at 10 pages per file creates three PDFs: pages 1-10, 11-20 and 21-25. Remaining pages are never discarded.

How do I enter a page range?

Use a dash for a continuous range and commas for multiple ranges, such as 1-3, 5, 8-10, or use the All, Odd or Even page buttons.

What are the file and page limits?

Choose up to 10 PDFs totaling 200 MB. Each PDF may contain up to 500 pages and a run may create up to 200 output files. These limits reduce the chance of exhausting device memory.

Is my PDF uploaded to the VPS?

No. File contents are read and results are created in the user's browser. The VPS only serves the page and scripts, so its CPU and RAM do not process the PDF.

Will bookmarks, forms or digital signatures remain unchanged?

Always check the result. Copying pages cannot guarantee that document-level structures such as bookmarks, form fields, attachments or digital signatures will behave or validate exactly as in the original.
