Frequently asked questions
Can I edit existing PDF text directly?
This tool does not directly change the original text structure. Instead, white out an area and add replacement text. This works well for filling blanks, correcting short details or adding notes. For paragraph and layout editing, convert PDF to Word and review the document afterward.
How does the whiteout tool remove existing information?
Drag a whiteout box over the unwanted area. On export, edited pages are flattened into images, so their original text layer is not retained. Before using the file for sensitive documents, reopen it, zoom in, search and try copying the covered information.
Will text on an edited PDF page remain searchable?
Edited pages are converted into images, so their text cannot be selected or searched. Untouched pages retain their original structure. If every page must remain searchable, use a tool that edits the text layer or run OCR afterward.
Are my signature and document stored on the VPS?
No. The document and signature stay in browser memory while you work and are embedded only in the file you download. The VPS serves the page and scripts but does not process document contents.
Why can a large PDF take longer to process?
Speed and capacity depend on your device memory and performance, especially when many pages are edited. Work on one file at a time, close unnecessary tabs, keep this page open and retain the original until you have checked the result.
