Frequently asked questions
How does the A4 PDF preserve the actual ID-photo size?
The 1, 1.5 and 2-inch presets use the displayed centimeter dimensions directly on the PDF page. Custom pixel dimensions are interpreted at 300 DPI. Print at 100% or Actual size with Fit to page disabled.
Does the A4 PDF include cut marks?
Yes. The tool places short cut marks around every photo corner, embeds the image once to reduce file size, and creates the PDF in the browser.
Does the tool guarantee that a photo meets government requirements?
No. The tool only sizes and lays out photos. It does not check faces, lighting, shadows, background color, clothing or document-specific rules. Check the receiving authority’s latest requirements before submitting.
Is there a person background remover tool available?
No. The background color only fills transparent or empty areas. To remove a background, use the Background Remover first, then bring the PNG back to size it.
What files and output sizes are supported?
Accepts JPG, PNG and WebP up to 30 MB. Output is limited to 5,000×5,000 pixels or 25 megapixels, with 2–16 copies on one A4 page.
Is the photo sent to the VPS?
No. Opening, cropping and creating JPG/PNG or A4 PDF output happens in the browser. The VPS only serves page assets and receives status analytics that contain neither the photo nor its filename.
