How does it work?

Send files directly in 3 steps

Both devices must have web pages open and online at the same time. The files will then travel directly to each other.

Privacy Principles

  • PDFdee does not accept and does not store file information.
  • The room link is a temporary key for pairing.
  • There is no backup server to send and receive files instead.

How to use Direct File Transfer

Frequently asked questions

Does PDFdee store files?

It does not store and does not receive file information. The server only helps pair devices with temporary room information.

Why must the sender keep this page open?

Because the recipient downloads data directly from the sender's device. When the sender closes the page Transmission will stop immediately.

What will happen if I can't connect?

You'll be prompted to try changing networks or turning off VPN, and the backup server won't be used to send and receive files.
